- How subscriptions work in SpotMod?
Subscriptions are initiated at the time of the first payment and are valid indefinitely. You can cancel the subscription at any time; however, depending on the product, either a month or a year must pass before the subscription is removed. The payment date always determines the start of the billing cycle. For example, if a customer purchases a subscription on December 5, it will always renew (or end) on the 5th of the relevant month.
- Can I use promotion codes?
Yes, during first checkout or during upgrading or downgrading subscription.
- I did not have enough means to pay for the subscription on time - what now.
In the event of a missed payment, 4 payment attempts will be made over a week period following the end of the billing cycle. If all attempts fail, the subscription will be canceled, and all active offers will be deactivated. Email reminders about missed payments will be sent 2 and 7 days after the payment due date.
- Can I cancel my subscription at any time?
Yes. A subscription can be canceled at any time. The service offered will continue to be provided until the end of the billing period. For example, a customer purchases a subscription on December 5 for one month and cancels it on December 7. The service will remain available until January 5, after which it will be deactivated.
- Can I upgrade my subscription at any time?
Yes. A customer can switch to a higher plan at any time. For example, a customer has the BASIC3 plan, purchased on January 5. On January 10, they upgrade to the STANDARD6 plan. The customer can immediately start using the STANDARD6 plan. They will be charged on February 5 for the period February 5 - June 5, based on the STANDARD6 plan price.
- Can I downgrade my subscription at any time?
Yes. A customer can switch to a smaller plan at any time. For example, a customer has the STANDARD6 plan, purchased on January 5. On January 10, they downgrade to the BASIC3 plan. The customer can continue using the STANDARD6 plan until the end of the billing period. On February 5, the plan will switch to BASIC3, and a new invoice for the BASIC3 plan will be issued. Additionally, any offers exceeding the BASIC3 plan limit will be automatically deactivated.
- Can I change billing interval?
Switching from an annual to a monthly interval is treated as a downgrade. For example, a customer purchases the BASIC3 plan on January 5, 2025, for a year. On January 10, they decide to change the interval to monthly. The customer will start being billed monthly only from January 5, 2026, when their current billing period ends. Switching from a monthly to an annual interval works similarly. After the monthly billing period ends, the interval will change to annual.
